JAWS Convenient OCR with the Pearl Camera

Are you a JAWS user who wants to gain access to printed text in a fast, convenient way? There are far too many JAWS user who don’t realize that capability is built right in to their modern JAWS version using the power of OCR. To make this feature even easier, and for a solution on the go, we will also be highlighting the Pearl Camera to notch up the convenience factor. Optical character recognition (OCR) technology provide persons who are blind or visually impaired with the capacity to scan printed text and then have it spoken in synthetic speech or saved to a computer file. During this webinar, we will be discussing the Convenient OCR feature available using the JAWS screen reading program. Join Ian Ramos and Marisa Church from Access Ingenuity and Joseph McDaniel from Vispero as they explain this amazing JAWS feature as well as a portable capture device to bring even more convenience and speed to your workflow. Note that everybody is welcome and can benefit from this presentation. Teachers of the visually impaired (TVI) can earn ACVREP continuing education credit by attending this approved presentation.
