Return & Refund Policy

Overview

We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. All items sold by Access Ingenuity have a limited money back guarantee unless noted and must meet certain conditions (see below) to ensure a credit can be issued. Please note that all software is non-refundable once activated.

RETURNS

Items returned to Access Ingenuity must be in new condition with all original packaging and accessories intact. Any components, including instruction manuals and accessories, must be unmarked and in new condition. All computer software must be unopened and not activated, unless otherwise noted. To return an item to Access Ingenuity, please take the following approach to ensure efficient delivery and a prompt refund.

RETURN PROCESS

  • Check the Date - All returns must be sent back to Access Ingenuity within 15 days of ordering to receive a full refund.
  • Obtain an RMA Number - Email customer service at info@accessingenuity.com to notify us of your wish to return and request a Return Authorization Number. This number is to be clearly posted on the outside of the package you ship the return in.
  • Re-Package Your Item - Re-package your Access Ingenuity item(s) with all the original packaging and/or accessories.
  • Ship Your Item - Please ship your return item back to the indicated "Ship To" address you are given when you receive your RMA number. We suggest insuring your package and shipping via a track-able method, such as UPS, to ensure proper delivery. Access Ingenuity is not responsible for lost or damaged articles.
  • Exchanges - If you are returning an item to exchange it, please contact Access Ingenuity to place a new order. 

RESTOCKING FEES MAY APPLY

If you are retuning an item to Access Ingenuity, a 20% restocking may apply under any of the following circumstances. Please read the following criteria thoroughly to see if your return will be subject to this fee.

  • Items Over $2,000.00 - Any item whose total value exceeds $2,000.00 US dollars will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Incomplete Returns - Items returned damaged by a customer or with missing accessories will be charged a 20% restocking fee or the cost of replacement or repair for the device, whichever is less.
  • Items Returned Without Authorization - Any return sent back without an RMA number issued by Access Ingenuity will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

INCOMPLETE, DAMAGED, OR DEFECTIVE ORDERS

If you have received a defective or damaged item, Access Ingenuity will issue a full refund for the cost of the product as well as shipping charges. If you wish to replace the item, please contact us to replace the order. Any defective or damaged items returned to Access Ingenuity via expedited shipping will only be refunded an amount equal to the lowest cost shipping method.

WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR REFUND

Access Ingenuity will process your credit when the item is received by our warehouse. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement or 21 business days to receive a check as reimbursement. Please note that your refund:

  • Will be in the same form as payment.
  • Will be equal to the total price of the item ordered.
  • Will exclude shipping and handling charges (unless otherwise specified) and any indicated restocking fees.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES

All items sold by Access Ingenuity are covered by warranty as specified by the original manufacturer. Access Ingenuity does not provide any warranty beyond that stated by the original manufacturer.

EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned:

  •     Software - (JAWS, ZoomText, Fusion, Kurzweil, Duxbury, etc.)
