In the variety of eLearning platforms used to help content authors create online courses, many claim to let you easily and quickly create courses that support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These platforms provide tools to address fundamental accessibility issues such as accessible course controls, accessible videos as well as basic keyboard support, and the option to incorporate accessible quizzes within a course module. However, authors must properly implement the accessibility features as well as be aware of the fundamental accessibility limitations in each platform that need to be resolved to meet accessibility requirements. In our previous webinar with Michael Parker, we explored key considerations when working with one of the most popular course authoring platforms, Storyline 360.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the key accessibility limitations of the Storyline 360.
- Learned techniques to make many common elements accessible.
- Learned about common accessibility mistakes to avoid when authoring content in Storyline 360.
- Learned about accessibility testing strategies to ensure that the content you produce is accessible.
