ZoomText® Magnifier is an advanced screen magnification program that enlarges and enhances everything on the computer screen, making your computer easier to see and use.

ZoomText runs on all versions of the Windows® operating system. Refer to our system requirements for a list of supported operating systems.

Your purchase of ZoomText® includes free technical support and all same-version updates. To ensure the ability to use your computer with the continuous updates of Windows, Office®, your browser, and other applications, it is essential to purchase a Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA). Purchasing an SMA with ZoomText® is the most cost-effective way to ensure you are protected now and, in the future, as it includes the next two versions of ZoomText®. This constitutes at 50% savings over the standard cost of purchasing upgrades.

Additional options for ZoomText® include Multi-user, Enterprise, and District licenses. There is also an option to run ZoomText® Magnifier in remote sessions from your computer to terminal servers using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services or Citrix XenApp® and XenDesktop®. It requires that you purchase a license of Fusion with Remote Access included. This gives the user the choice to run either Fusion or only ZoomText® Magnifier/Reader in these remote environments.

  • Zoom in and out using All Zoom Levels, Favorite Zoom Levels Only or Whole Power Levels Only
  • Favorite Zoom Levels feature uses a custom set of user-defined zoom levels for zooming in and out
  • Choose any combination of zoom levels to define your favorite zoom levels

To use ZoomText for Windows, we recommend a personal computer running Microsoft® Windows® with the following:

Operating System - Windows® 11, Windows 10, Windows Server® 2022, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2016. ZoomText supports the x64 architecture for all operating systems.

Processor Speed Recommended - 2.0 GHz i7 dual-core processor.

Memory (RAM)Recommended - 16 GB.

Required hard disk space - 2 GB with more space required for additional voices. Recommended: SSD drive.

Video - Video/Graphics card or integrated graphics with support for DirectX 11 or later.

Sound - Windows-compatible sound card (for speech).

Display - 5-point multi-touch display for touch screen support.

USB - USB 2.0 for ZoomText Camera support.

Expert Assistive Technology Support & Training

Access Ingenuity is here to help with the installation and configuration of JAWS, ZoomText or other assistive technology. This may involve any custom installation parameters that are required as well as complete driver updates for compatible hardware.
