Enhancing Accessibility: Using AI with JAWS

The presentation will offer strategic methods of utilizing artificial intelligence with JAWS that will enhance visually impaired students’ ability to effectively learn, research, and explore diverse topics. We will discuss the latest features of AI in JAWS, along with the capabilities of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot by presenting how they support students in various areas of learning, including how to improve their proficiency with the JAWS screen reader. We will present how AI with JAWS can improve visually impaired students’ skills to retrieve information as efficiently as their sighted peers.
