This presentation will present tactics and software tools available to be confident your visually impaired student has the technology prowess they need to succeed beyond K12. We will be discussing the current gaps that college educators have shared when working with visually impaired students. We will be discussing those gaps and how they can be filled using modern technology with future-defining impact. We will also be discussing the pros and cons of stand-alone computing platforms vs Windows-based platforms and how they can affect your student's future. Also, what impact braille has on future success.
